In just a few easy steps you can have a custom fit Safety Cover.
Our measuring crew will take note of the size of your pool, any water features you may have (waterfall, jump rock, sheer descent etc.) and the size and type of decking (min. 3 ft of deck) around your pool to determine what hardware will be needed.
We will send your pools measurements to the manufacturer who will design an auto cad computer drawing for the safety cover. Once we have received the drawing approval from the manufacturer, we will notify you with the final price. This process typically takes 1 - 3 business days.
The order is then placed, and the cover is made. Covers usually are ready within 7 - 10 business days as they are custom made covers. Once we receive the cover we will notify you and book an installation date.
Use these easy to follow steps to take your cover off or put on with ease.
Spray the dirt and debris off of the top of the cover with a garden hose or leaf blower. This will ensure none of the leaves or dirt enter your pool.
Use the installation bar to slip off the steel springs one at a time. We recommend starting at the shallow or deep end and working your way around. Leave the last two springs directly across from each other attached.
Remove the last springs in the deep end and begin folding the cover over onto itself in the shallow end. Once the cover is completely folded, you can roll it up and slide it into your perforated storage bag that allows the water to drain.
Leave the bag out in the sun to dry. Once dry, store your cover in a dry place where mice won’t get to it.
Your new Safety Cover comes with a box of hardware that will be used during installation. The items included in these boxes are specific to each pool owners unique shape and specs.
The type of hardware in your kit will be determined by the type of backyard you have, the decking, and the available area to work with. Brass anchors are the anchors that are used during most installations but depending on the area or the type of decking, lawn tubes or wood deck anchors may be used.
These are used during every installation. The number of anchors used will depend on how many straps are needed to ensure that the cover is on perfectly. A spring is required at each loose strap on the outer edge of the safety cover.
This bar is roughly 3’ in length and is used to secure the springs to the top portion of either the brass anchors, lawn tubes, or deck anchors. The bar is also used as the removal tool to detach the springs and remove the cover for pool season.
This is used to thread up, or down the tops of the anchors into the grommets. By threading down the grommet you ensure no one stubs their toes, and by threading the anchor head up, you are ready to attach the springs when you are putting the cover on for the winter.
A winter storage bag will keep your safety cover and equipment together throughout the pool season until you are ready to winterize. The storage bags are made of the same perforated mesh material to allow water to drain faster which will speed up your closing time.
An installation manual is included for your reference. Owners will also receive warranty information regarding their cover that provides detailed information if any issues should arise.
